Standard Calibration Temperatures
Listed below are the standard temperatures at which we calibrate our material. Calibration at other temperatures is possible, and can be made available for most cable.
Equipment
A pod furnace is used to calibrate most of the mineral insulated cable (aka MgO, MI cable) produced at Idaho Laboratories. An oil bath is also available on a limited basis for calibrating items that cannot be accomodated in the furnaces.

*Please note that the calibration temperature ranges listed above are based on ASTM E-230 specifications, and the expected use of the material. We can calibrate at other temperatures as needed.
